I spoke with the Program Manager for this area, and wanted to include some information on contacting her, and the programs she shared with me.

I forgot to mention on the phone, but one resource I want to be sure you’re aware of is the Society’s MS Navigator program. This is the Society’s flagship program that provides one-on-one support for people affected by MS to find lasting solutions for the unique and complex challenges of MS. Last year, we supported over 50,000 people with this program. MS Navigators are available to help with any kind of question or support needed, but the most common inquiries we get include questions on benefits, insurance, and employment, social and emotional support, housing assistance, neurologist referrals, and in-home care needs, to name just a few.
