I put together some instructions on how to use zoom for attending virtual meetings that are going on now. Zoom can be run on any Phone or tablet. (Android or IOS) and if you have a web cam on your PC it can be run from there. the first step is to use your browser on the device you plan on installing zoom, and go to https://zoom.us. Once there, click on the button on the upper right Sign up for free.
Enter your date of birth or at least a date that is more than 18 years ago. (Age verification)
Enter your email address. This is for verification that you are not a machine and can respond to the information in the email. You also have the option if signing in with Facebook google or a SSO method if you have Single Sign in Option enabled
Last step for verification is respond to email that was sent by zoom
Responding to email takes you to the zoom page to enter your name and create password.
next step is Download the client software. at zoom.us you click on the right hand menu choice Resources. then from that window choose Download Zoom Client
Download will put the installer on your computer, and when you click the installer it will ask you if you want to install because it is not from Microsoft. Click Install anyways to finish the install.
