My first Group meeting

Generation OptiMiStic for people in their 20s, 30s & 40s was held at the National MS Society headquarters. I was impressed by the facility, and the people I got to meet. We had an informal session where everybody got to discuss what is going on in their lives, and everyone was able to give insight from their own situations. I have to admit, I was the oldest one there being almost 62. Some of the stories about their kids reminds me of my grand-kids (especially in ages). It was Group Leader Michelle’s birthday, and we had to get in a song for her. I learned a lot about how others are handling day to day living with MS, and how to make it work the best. I asked everyone if they would take a picture of all of us so I could share it, and most of them said yes. I look forward to getting together again with everyone I met.
